Banks and non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) can both offer business credit, but the best offer depends on the borrower, product and complete repayment cost.
Compare the offer, not the label
- Identify the regulated lender named in the loan documents and confirm that the application channel is legitimate.
- Compare the sanctioned amount, disbursal amount, interest method, annual percentage rate (APR), fees and total repayment.
- Check the repayment frequency against your cash cycle. A daily collection schedule can be difficult for a business with seasonal sales.
- Read prepayment conditions, late-payment charges, security requirements and the lender’s grievance route.
A practical example
Two offers may advertise the same headline rate. One can still cost more if processing fees reduce the amount actually received or if the repayment schedule is mismatched to sales.
Before you act
Rawhub is a marketplace; any lender offer, eligibility, pricing and approval must come from the named regulated lending partner. Do not treat a marketplace credit illustration as a sanctioned loan.
